Sometimes even the scent of a certain brand of icecream or donut can have enough force to send your head spinning. A little whiff of perfume from an old friend, the smell of wood from a certain table, or the air freshener from a different place and a different time.

These things really shouldn't have such a strong effect on us… And I wish that I could completely forget some of these smells, some of these tastes, because only half forgetting is worse than remembering.
