Hopefully, October will treat me much better than September, or its predecessor did... I plan to finish something that I should've finished many, many months ago… To be honest, I just want to finish it and get it over with. Editing will come eventually, but at least once it's finished, I won't have to worry about it anymore.

Once that's done with, I'll be able to focus on what I've really been wanting to do. I've got some closure to find, some poems to write, and some stories to finally finish. I can't wait to close the lid on this project and write these things. Of course, there's one more thing that'll come back to scream in my face, but I won't let myself think or worry about that for now.

I'm kicking off October in a big way, and what with The Other Side of Down, and the fact that I'll be reading The Time Traveller's Wife - a book I've been wanting to read for a while - October seems like sunshine to me. But how I'll be kicking it off, you'll have to wait a few days to find out…
