Dum Di Dum Is An Alliteration

Jan 22, 2011 in

For some reason, I feel inclined to blog about how class went today. Maybe it's because I spent a lot of time picking apart details and seeing how I can use the information in my own writing, as well as when I review people on WC.

We've been learning the same poem about nature for the past couple of weeks, and I actually like that. Today, we were trying to think of possible figurative meanings for the poem, and it's the best thing we've done all term. Interpreting things is difficult, and often times, there are no right or wrong answers, but it's also one of my favorite things to do. Perhaps I do it too much in certain things.

Also, I have a sneaky suspicion that the teacher has been on my blog. So, if you're reading this, hello!

I think I'll bring a poem of mine to class next week since I would really like his opinion on it.

PS. Dear teacher who may or may not be reading this: I used the term "alliteration" in a review today, not that everyone else really needed to know that.
