The last time I gave an update on my word count, it was 10 days ago, and I was at 18,740. Today, I'm happy to report to you that I am at roughly 30,587 words. I got in 1,809 words yesterday, which was excruciatingly close to the all-ellusive 2,000 words, but unfortunately, I had to get out before I hit it and the 30k mark, which I passed today. Still, that isn't too bad, right?

On another note, I just could not fall asleep last night for some reason. Though when sleep came, it came really quickly, before I could really figure out that I was finally falling asleep. But the point of this paragraph is that it's startling the number of ideas and words seem good in the middle of the night, with the lights off. It really is. Now I'm trying to figure out whether the idea I got last night belongs to on the idea of trees, or raked away into the compost pile.

Anyway, I'm going to go finish my daily thousand now… let's see if I can get 2k today. :)
