It seems like only yesterday that we celebrated our 50th Merdeka Day, but here we are, 1,825 days later, and celebrating our 55th. It's a momentous day for us in Malaysia - the celebration of our independence - and a great time to remember what we love about our country. We have come so far since 1957, and now is the perfect time to look back into our past, appreciate what our forefathers did to fight for our freedom, and also look to building an even better future.
